Day 3: Wayne, MI

These boys are truly incredible!!! Their level of professionalism is unreal! I am SO proud of them! We left the hotel rather late today which put us WAY behind schedule. We ended up arriving in Wayne, Michigan over an hour and a half late! But, the boys knew what needed to be done and that it needed to be done quickly so we still managed to have the night go off without any problems!

The boys did their warm-ups on the bus so that as soon as we arrived, we could have supper. Today has been a very busy day for everyone--we've been running a thousand miles an hour, but yet, no one really cares because we have so much fun along the way!

Today was also a special day for one of the boys: Charlie Sylvester turned 11. We celebrated his birthday by singing "Happy Birthday" with all of the host families and taking part in a dessert reception they had planned for us. At the end, they brought out a cupcake with a candle on it for Charlie to "make a wish!" Overall, it was a memorable night for Charlie!

The boys are staying at host homes tonight and are eager to keep on traveling! All they want to do is get to Orange Lake so they can go swimming! ;)

Another great day on tour with the Viking Choir! I will update as often as I can. Check back soon!
